'Baymax', a team of students of Eastern University (EU), participated in this year's 7th National ICT Festival - IT business idea challenge competition.
The competition participants were Shah Mohiuddin (Department of CSE), Faysal Ahamed (Department of BBA), and Fayaz Yousuf (Department of BBA).
The team consisted of Shah Mohiuddin of CSE and Faysal Ahamed and Fayaz Yousuf of BBA. The team participated with "Evidence Glass - a business idea on women security and reducing the rate of violence against women".
The festival was organized by IUT Computer Society of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) at Gazipur. The EU team has stood 4th among the top 5 teams. The judges, participants and organizers have appreciated the team's performance.

Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu inaugurated the festival as the Chief Guest of the event on September 2015. A total number of 1860 students from 20 universities and colleges across the country have participated in the festival. Various events including programming contest, IT business idea challenge, project showcasing, ICT Olympiad, math Olympiad, general knowledge and gaming has hold in this festival.
Every judge, participants and organizers has appreciated this team's effort on its business venture. The president of IUT Computer Society has especially thanked this team for its outstanding presentation and participation in the challenge. Now, this team is thinking to participate in other national and international challenges in near future.
